We manufacture a whole range of attenuators sized and selected to suit any specific requirements. SPEK are pleased to liaise with the customer at design stage to ensure products are sized and selected correctly.

All attenuators are designed in-house by highly experienced engineers. This means we are not limited to standard sizes and can design to meet specific needs and requirements.

Attenuators are available in galvanized steel, stainless steel or PVC.

All attenuators are strictly manufactured to current industry standards.

Bespoke attenuators are available for a whole range of applications; clean rooms, swimming pools, saturated atmosphere, fire rated ductwork, high pressure specifications, corrosive environments and protection from grease/oil/moisture.

RECTANGULAR

Attenuator cases are constructed from pre-galvanized sheet steel of minimum thickness 1mm. Pittsburgh joints are used as standard. The acoustic splitters contained within are manufactured with a high density acoustic infill contained behind an expanded galvanized steel sheet. All acoustic splitters are fixed within sheet steel channels.

Bull nose fairings are fixed to the inlet on the attenuator so as to minimise the pressure drop. Outlet fairings are available upon request.

Large attenuators would be supplied in sections for site assembly by others. All multi-section attenuators have RSA fixing flanges.

Mezz-type flanges are fitted as standard to all one-piece rectangular attenuators.

Spigot connections are available on small attenuators.

BEND

Mezz-type flanges are fitted as standard to all one-piece bend attenuators.

Spigot connections are available on small attenuators.

CIRCULAR

Attenuator cases are constructed from pre-galvanized sheet steel of minimum thickness 1mm. Pittsburgh joints are used as standard.

Circular attenuators are supplied with or without a pod dependent on performance requirements. The pods have a conical inlet and flat outlet.

The attenuators are provided with either tapped end rings complete with matching flanges or, if required, spigot connections.

CROSSTALK

Attenuator cases are constructed from pre-galvanized sheet steel of minimum thickness 1mm. Pittsburgh joints are used as standard. The acoustic splitters contained within are manufactured with a high density acoustic infill contained behind an expanded galvanized steel sheet. All acoustic splitters are fixed within sheet steel channels.

Bull nose fairings are fixed to the inlet on the attenuator so as to minimise the pressure drop. Outlet fairings are available upon request.

Crosstalk attenuators are provided with either a ductwork-matching spigot connection or a Mezz-flange connection.
